Me on the keys, Yesenia on the drums and Kiyani on guitar. We stick together and nothing can break us apart like most bands. Some other girls asked to join our band this year but we don’t let any outsiders into our circle. They called us “mean girls”, but that's how it is when you’re in a band, you don’t just add new members. Remember Destiny’s Child? A mess. Our fans want consistency, you know?

Sure we’re identical but there’s actually so many differences between us. Patrina wouldn’t be happy to know all the things I’m about to say, but I’m changing. I’m not the same me that I was even a month ago.

Inside is a collection of every comic I’ve ever read. Sure, it may not seem like treasure since tons of people have comics, and even bigger collections than this. But what they don’t have is 15 sketchbooks filled with the extended versions of the comics I’ve read.

“We don’t lose on this family…” my dad says. “But I didn’t lose, I came in 4th.” I reply.

My mother is Italian. My father is Caribbean. And our food is a mix of it all just like me.

The faded sign above our little shop says Psychic Readings. I come from a family of “Seers”. My mother. My grandmother. My great grandmother and so on. “Seeing is gift from the Island”

I was voted most popular and biggest smile in the 7th grade yearbook. I’m in the photo smiling proudly, but I never strived to be popular.

My friends and I all decided to try out for the track team this spring. We used to dance ballet together since we were kids. I was always a bit more “spherical” than them but everyone said I would thin out as I grew. I never did.

I’ve done some things in my life I’m not proud of. I’ve said some things I can’t take back, like making fun of Tania’s new hairstyle which made her cry.

Mama said she named me Candy because when I was born I was the sweetest thing she'd ever seen. But what she didn't expect was that i'd be a little bit spicy too.
