Thoughts at 13
Thoughts at 13 is a dream project of mine. I’m sure you’ll remember being thirteen as an age where your world was shifting in so many ways. We were all experiencing the delicate yet awkward dance from child to teen. I remember thirteen being the in between, when I still was seeking to be nurtured yet yearning for my own adventures.
These fictional short stories are from the perspective of 13 year old’s, who are reflecting on their own triumphs and truths. Some of the stories are based on my own experiences in middle school and some of the stories are completely imagined.
