Me on the keys, Yesenia on the drums and Kiyani on guitar. We stick together and nothing can break us apart like most bands.

Some other girls asked to join our band this year but we don’t let any outsiders into our circle. They called us “mean girls”, but that's how it is when you’re in a band, you don’t just add new members. Remember Destiny’s Child? A mess. 

Our fans want consistency, you know?

At the talent show this year half the crowd cheered for us, and the other half boo'd us. I guess half saw our talent and half only could see us as mean girls.

But then the crowd went crazy when Kiyani hit a high note out of nowhere. It was impressive, not going to lie, but it really threw me off. Was she trying to outshine me and Yesenia?

I guess it doesn't matter since we still won right? But did we win because of Kiyani suddenly becoming Whitney Houston?

Nahhh…our only competition was the kid who raps. He used to be in a group too but then he went solo.

Bad move.

It was just him and his mic lonely on stage. Not entertaining at all.

We won because we sing. We dance. We play instruments. We’re the next big thing.

And no one is going solo from this group, I just need to remind Kiyani of that…
